OutKast released "Ms. Jackson" from their fourth studio album Stankonia on October 3, 2000. The song topped charts in the United States and had won a Grammy Award in 2002.
The song "Ms. Jackson" is a apologetic reference to Erykah Badu's mother of when their relationship between the couple had come to an end.
The song reached number 69 on the Billboard Hot R&B / Hip Hop Chart but didn't chart on the top 100 chart.
